[Tae-joon Byun]
Education Service Division, KERIS Director

*Introduction

In the year of 2020, Covid-19 affected various sectors of society. And educational sites were no exception. As Covid-19 became serious, various measures were sought to prevent the suspension of education. And remote education was at the center of this.
In order to apply remote education to the field, we have overcame the crisis by expanding large-scale infrastructure and improving LMS. Through the experience of remote education, we were able to gain meaningful implications for future education.
In particular, I will look at the differences between the concept of traditional remote education and current remote education. And also I will address the direction of building the information environment (the direction of building an education platform) necessary for future education from the experience of remote education. In addition, I would like to address the tasks that should be preceded because the role of EduTech is important to support future education.
